Host a team meeting at least a few days in advance (ideally a week in advance)

    • We’ve found 35-40 is a doable number of businesses to visit and allow for time to drive from place to place, take notes, and have a lunch/breaks

  • Talk about the goal (# of businesses to visit, types of business and call-to-action) and make sure everyone understand the desired end result

  • Prep your team on what to say and where to go

  • Decide on what goodies you’ll take

  • Follow up:

    • Print your follow up spreadsheet

    • Review with the team

    • Set the standard for follow up spreadsheet (what makes for “good notes”)
