Instructions:

Snowball shovel race (Spoon Relay)

  1. Team Setup: Divide participants equally into teams, explaining that each person will need to balance a “snowball” on a spoon without using their hands to steady it.

  2. How to Play: Each player will race to the other end with the snowball on the spoon, drop it in a designated container, and then run back to tag the next teammate. The relay continues until all team members have completed their turn and all the snowballs have been deposited.

  3. Winning the Relay: The first team to finish with all their snowballs wins!

  4. Extra Challenge Option: For older players, you can add a rule that any dropped snowball must be picked up, and the player must start over from the beginning.

Snowball fight:

Divide participants into two teams, positioning each on either side of a set line. Set a timer for one or two minutes. The goal is for each team to toss as many snowballs to the opposing side as possible before time runs out. The team with the fewest snowballs remaining on their side when the timer ends wins!

tower knockdown:

Stack the cups into a tower and let players try to knock it down by tossing snowballs!

Relay Option for Older Players: Set up two towers and divide players into two teams. Each player tosses a snowball to knock down the cups, then runs to reset the tower before the next teammate takes their turn. The first team to have every player complete the knockdown-and-reset cycle wins!

Snowball Bucket Toss:

Depending on the group’s age, have each participant take turns tossing a snowball into each container to score points! Alternatively, you can make it a competitive race by having two players go head-to-head, seeing who can fill their containers the fastest.

SNOW SHOVEL:

Race to see which player can scoop the most cotton balls off the table into the bowl in a minute or less. Only your spoon may touch the snowballs.
