Mondays are hard. For one, you have to leave your house and wear real pants. Enough said.

Make it a little easier for your residents to start their week with a “Coffee & Pastries” grab and go event every Monday in December. It’s a simple resident retention touchpoint that doesn’t take a lot of work, but we promise…it will make a big impact!

Tip: Having it every Monday makes it a no-brainer for residents!

Do it now in 1-2-3: 

1. Let residents know in advance. 

   • Download, print and post your event invite in all common areas of your community. Bonus points if you put the invite in a pretty frame.

   • Share it on all of your social media platforms. Schedule reminders to post Sunday evening.

   • Suggested social media post: “Pssst…we know Mondays are hard. For one, you have to leave your house and wear pants. While we can’t help with the pants thing, we are making it a little easier with Coffee & Pastries every Monday in December. So before you head off to work or to take the kiddos to school, drop by the community office for ___________ (insert treats) starting at _________ (insert time). See you Monday!”

   • Send it out via email or in your community newsletter.
     

2. Set yourself a weekly reminder to grab some goodies while you’re doing your Sunday grocery shopping. Keep it simple. Everyone loves donuts, croissants, and muffins.

3. Monday Morning: Get the coffee brewing, set out the goodies, and watch your residents roll on in.
