"GUESS HOW MANY" CONTEST EVENTS

One of our easiest, most loved, and EFFECTIVE at resident engagement is our Guess How Many event. We’ve rounded them up and are giving you everything you need to bring them to life.

What’s amazing about this event is that you can do this in a variety of different ways:

Completely Virtual
In-Person Event
Combo of Both

Do it now in a few easy steps:

Grab your designs.
Purchase 2 mason jars: 1 for candy and 1 for guesses! We recommend either this 64 oz jar or this two-pack.
Pick some candy to put in the jar from our list of ideas!
Place the guessing slips next to the jar with a pen or marker. Leave the empty jar out for their guesses.
Download the social square to invite residents to enter on social media. Make sure to include how and when you will select the winner.
- VIRTUAL ALTERNATIVE: Make it an online event and have them guess from your photo! Simply post your jar photo along with the contest design and tell them to guess online!
Once you’ve chosen the winner(s), make sure to post about it on social media so everybody knows!

PRIZE IDEAS

Gift card: Visa, Amazon, coffee, local restaurant or shop, grocery store, etc.
Swag with your community’s logo: Hats, t-shirts, drink cozies, sunglasses, etc.
Rent discount or apartment upgrade.

This one makes for the best guessing! Your jar will contain hundreds or thousands of brightly colored jellybeans. We’ve found the Kirkland Signature (Costco) Jelly Belly 4 lb jar is perfect for the occasion. Jelly Belly’s really do taste the best and they aren’t that much more than the generic bulk jelly beans.
